The Brief
A client based in London approached Loughton Direct after carpet tiles in a number of meeting rooms were left with finish following reinstatement works by an AV company. Although the carpet tile was designed to create a broadloom-style appearance, visible pile trap at the joints had left the floor looking patchy and uneven.
The client wanted to improve the overall finish without replacing the flooring, restoring the meeting rooms to a professional standard.
Loughton Direct carried out specialist power brushing to reinstated carpet tiles, working across affected areas to blend the joints and improve the visual consistency of the floor. this process helped reduce the appearance of the pile trap and brought the installation much closer to its intended broadloom effect.
The completed result provided a clear visual improvement, helping the meeting rooms look cleaner, more uniform, and more in keeping with the rest of the office environment.
